1000 YouTube subscribers

I have reached 1000 subscribers on YouTube! I never thought I’d get anywhere close to this huge amount of subscribers, especially not this fast! Since I published the first episodes of the “PLC programming using TwinCAT 3 tutorial” in the beginning of March on YouTube, the channel has received over 30.000 views. It seems free PLC programming tutorials are appreciated. It’s time to celebrate and answer some questions that I’ve got from you viewers!

    Hi Jakob,
    Congratulations!
There is quite a lot of knowledge on the Internet about programming in IEC 61131-3 in IDEs from different vendors.
Your blog and videos on YT cover a broader subject (like test driven development) and that’s great. There is also a blog about object oriented programming in Codesys / TwinCAT 3.
There is, however, a lack of information about project planning, application architecture, and general knowledge of a higher level of programming. I mean knowledge similar to the information contained in standards such as PackML, ISA-88, PLCopen. Do you think you could blog about it? I am definitely interested in such knowledge;)

    • Great suggestions! I have however many other projects in queue that I want to finish first. I agree, we need more people sharing tips & knowledge! Maybe you or some other reader can share this information?
