I have reached 1000 subscribers on YouTube! I never thought I’d get anywhere close to this huge amount of subscribers, especially not this fast! Since I published the first episodes of the “PLC programming using TwinCAT 3 tutorial” in the beginning of March on YouTube, the channel has received over 30.000 views. There is quite a lot of knowledge on the Internet about programming in IEC 61131-3 in IDEs from different vendors.
Your blog and videos on YT cover a broader subject (like test driven development) and that’s great. There is also a blog about object oriented programming in Codesys / TwinCAT 3.
There is, however, a lack of information about project planning, application architecture, and general knowledge of a higher level of programming. I mean knowledge similar to the information contained in standards such as PackML, ISA-88, PLCopen. Do you think you could blog about it? I am definitely interested in such knowledge;)
Great suggestions! I have however many other projects in queue that I want to finish first. I agree, we need more people sharing tips & knowledge! Maybe you or some other reader can share this information?
